Overview

A funky, fresh and modern firm of accountants is on the lookout for their next top performer! With a very flexible working pattern, this firm really allows you to spread your wings without the micromanagement of a scary partner over your shoulder! A supporting and welcoming environment with training opportunities included.

The role is Monday - Friday with a hybrid working pattern.

Salary starts at £24,400 + benefits.

Duties

• Managing bookkeeping activities across a varied client base
• Handling VAT return preparation and submissions
• Working alongside senior team members to build technical capability and progress towards responsibility for your own client portfolio
• Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Acting as a point of contact for clients, helping to maintain strong relationships and a high standard of service
• Providing day-to-day support to client managers with compliance requirements and ad-hoc queries

What we're looking for

A successful candidate will have circa 2-4yrs+ experience within a UK accountancy firm and live within a 45min commute.
