Fantastic new role with an award-winning law firm based locally to Worthing.
We are currently seeking a proactive and professional Legal Secretary to join a well-established legal team. This is a superb opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their legal support career within a respected and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive secretarial support to lawyers
  • Managing telephone calls, taking messages, and transferring calls professionally
  • Maintaining accurate records of meetings and appointments
  • Organising travel arrangements for legal staff
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings, as well as managing diaries
  • Attending court and liaising with clients when required
  • Assisting with the preparation of legal documents and court paperwork
  • Closing, archiving, and securely storing legal files

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar legal administrative role
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, documentation, and court procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal software
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • A professional and discreet manner, with a strong sense of integrity
